Self Made is our off the farm purchase from Kilmer Swine Farm. When we laid eyes on this guy ,I was hounding Jim for a day to get him bought. This is one of the deepest litters of Yorkshires that I have seen, and the other one was also at Kilmers in 2020 and out of the same sow line. Mates include Reserve Division 1 Yorkshire Gilt 2023 NJSS, $16,000 High Seller in Platt-Kilmer- Tres sale, and barrows that will show later. Sired by All By Myself, his first crop is off to a killer start hanging lots of banners from lots of different breeders. Grandmother is the famous Leaps and Bounds sow. Mother is a clone of the Dominator NAILE Reserve Grand Market Hog in 2019 and those have generated like crazy. What this sow line has done in the showring both purebreds and crosses is amazing and it flat works.

Self Made is very similar to his sire in terms of proportions and the way he is built. He is a boar that is level and attractive from the side with an awesome look in front of his blade and has great length of hip. Opens up off both ends and leaves with a correct square hip and hind leg. Shape and mass up high matches, yet still not a small little hog. He is one that is the ideal combination of junior gilt maker from the side and has the barrow power up high and coming and going. Get into the winning Yorkshire line and game with SELF MADE!!!!
