Pony Up is one that we bought from Stohlquist Showpigs off the farm. We weren’t sure we were ever going to get a chance to buy him, but boy we are glad we did. Sired by the popular Hot Check boar. After getting this guy bought, we tried for the 4th time to get his sire bought, and got that done as well. I got to see this guy when he was 60 pounds and was as impressive then as he is today and out of the deepest litter of pigs I have ever seen. Littermates are winning jackpots in Indiana, Ohio, Illinois, California, and Wisconsin every weekend and are built to win at the end as well. Another littermate gilt was Champion Division 2 Crossbred Gilt and 4th Overall at Expo. Such a good and deep litter of hogs, that breeds on.

Pony Up is so good everywhere with the extras it takes to win at the end on the big stage. He is a design hog on the side, yet a power hog when on top and behind him. He is tall fronted and level on the side with great set up front and a hind leg that is square. He is perfect on his pasterns with huge legs, big feet, and comfortable on the go. Shape and power up high with all proportions in check. We love this litter of hogs and this guy has us extremely fired up. This dude is one impressive hog that will see a lot of very good females. It took a lot to get this boar, but when you see one this good you know it’s time to PONY UP!!!!!
