(Power Wagon x PI R Squared (PowerWagon's littermate sister))

Bred by RW Genetics
Registration number: #311514002
$125 A Dose
We feel very fortunate to own this boar. This is one of the BEST red boars that we have seen in the past 5 to 10 years. This is a $15,000 private treaty purchase from RW. To be honest, we went to look at this boar and after seeing him we knew he was a must have. Line bred means predictability!! Problem Solver is a wide bodied hog that is very heavy in his structure and as correct on his feet and legs as you want to make one. This guy is opened up underneath with a huge chest floor and super square going away. This is a boar that will make showpigs and breeding stock. We should have named him Pennies on the Dollar. He is awesome!!

Blindside 6-4

Blindside Profile
Blindside Rear View

(Buck Cherry x Brickhouse)

Bred by Malcolm Farms
Registration Number: #313791004
$150 A Dose

Blind Side is the $25,000 Reserve Duroc Weanling boar from the 09' Fall Classic. Blind Side and his littermate boar were named Champion and Reserve Duroc Weanling boars and we had the UPPERHAND on everyone getting to see these boars grown up from weaning to Duncan and this is the one we have loved from DAY 1!!!! We tried to buy Blind Side before Duncan but Malcolm's decided to take him down there and it may have cost us more money to own him but he was accepted very very well by fellow breeders. Blindside is jet level down his topline, massive chested and has a monster hip. This guy has a great look and as much shape as you want one to have. Not only is he good looking and super stout but he is heavy structured and extremely comfortable on his feet and legs. We feel that this guy is going to sire champion market hogs and champion breeding hogs. THE BEST DUROC BOAR MALCOLM FARMS HAVE BRED!!!!!!!!

This is our pick of all the Duroc boars at the 2009 STC. Too Legit's soundness, correctness and squareness to his hind leg is near perfect. Not only is this guy sound as a cat but has awesome muscle shape and a huge hip. Too Legit is a moderate framed boar that is level made and heavy in his structure. This guy's mom was one incredible show gilt that was Grand Champion at the 2008 Indiana State Fair. Too legit is a very good boar with a great pedigree.

(Tug x Fireman)
Bred by Greg and Austin Thompson
Registration Number: #311379012
$75 A Dose
Tug Of War is a boar that is a Duroc barrow making machine. This guy has so much natural muscle shape when you look at him and his pedigree is loaded with muscle with the Alberta II line on the sow side. This guy can make barrows and can make breeding stock at the same time. He is a bigger outlined boar that is level in his make up and has shape down his top line and ties it in a shapely kind of hip. Tug of War has a big forearm and plants all 4 down on a huge foot. We feel this boar is a true breeding piece that is going to get some real good sows in our herds.

Big Gulp Profile View

(Jumbo x Midnight Oil)
Bred by Dave Joostberns Family
Registration Number: #466621008
$100 A Dose
Big Gulp is a boar that we are very glad we got before the state fair because he would have been very popular there if we didn’t and would have cost us a nice little chunk of change. We feel that Big Gulp is a boar that can make Hampshire barrows as well as crossbred showpigs every day of the week. Big Gulp is a level made boar with barrow kind of shape down his top and still extended in his skeleton. He has great foot size and bone and square off both ends and can get out and go as good as any Hampshire boar we have seen. When talking about make Hampshire barrow and Hampshire sired crossbred showpigs…..Big Gulp is the answer.

New Kid 37-1

New Kid Profile ViewNew Kid Front View

(Rambo x Patriot)

Bred by Steve and Aaron Cobb
Registration Number-460798001
$150 A Dose
New Kid is a boar we feel very privileged to have here and want to thank Steve and Aaron Cobb for sharing this proven sire with us. This boar can do some of the things everyone is talking about.  He is opening hogs up as much as anything out there.  If you need to open one up and down size the frame just a little New Kid is the one!  He has been a great sire  in terms of making show pigs that look like they can go win a show.  New Kid can sire winning hogs but at the same time make great females to keep back and breed. He is the sire of the Vintage boar at Cobbs and a bunch of females through out the country that keep popping up in winners pedigrees.

Bred by Grimms Purebreds
Owned with Rodibaugh Genetic Team
Registration Number: #490389004

This is the $17,000 high selling class winning boar at the 09 Indiana State Fair. This guy was by far our pick of all the Yorkshire in the barn at Indiana. We teamed up with Rodibaugh Genetic Team to bring him back to Huntington Indiana. He not only has a killer pedigree but he is a killer Yorkshire boar. This guy’s sire is one impressive herd boar at Grimm's and I would say Daddy Mack's mother is on the top end of the sows in Maynard Iowa. Daddy Mac is a heavy structured boar with a huge forearm and as square coming and going as we have seen shown this year. He is moderate in his frame size with a great skull and has a flexible spine but still super correct in his ham-loin hook up. He is level out of his hip and square off both ends setting them down on big square even toes.

(Night Tripp x Halmark)

Bred by Greg and Austin Thompson
Registration Number: #492624001
$75 A Dose
Here is a Yorkshire boar that we bought privately from Thompson's that we really really like. This boar was out of an extremely deep litter of hogs that were all built alike. Hangover is a boar with natural shape and a great turn to his center body. He is heavy in his bones and has perfect set and slope to his knee. He is wide chested and jet level in his design. His mom was a class winning gilt at the '07 NJSS and one incredible sow to look at in Hutchinson, Kansas. When we saw Hangover he was the boar we wanted and the pedigree we were looking for. The pieces that Hangover has are great and when matched up with the right sows......LOOK OUT!
Hangover's littermate sister was named Grand Overall 09 NJSA Southwest Regional.

Bred by Doug Porter

Registration Number: #143500002
$125 A Dose
What can I say other then this is one incredible spot boar. He was the $18,000 High Selling Grand Champion Spot Boar at the 09 Indiana State Fair. No joke if this guy was entered the next day in the crossbred show we don’t feel we would have got him bought for the amount we did. Sam runs around 20 head of spot sows and wanted to buy a spot boar. I told him only if we find a GREAT ONE. We found Stand Back and he fit the bill. Porter has made this mating 3 times and has worked every time with many winners at Texas major’s, state fairs and breeding stock shows. He said this is the best one he has made yet with this mating as well as any spot he has raised. Stand Back is a moderate framed, stout featured boar that has great expression down his top and a huge massive hip. This guy is as square coming as he is going with a great set to his knee and his hind legs are out in the corners. We know that this guy will be heard from!!

Paranormal 21-4

Bred by Lucky Genetics
Stress Negative $100 A Dose

This is our crossbred purchase at the 09 Fall Classic and what a great pick up he was. Paranormal's dam is one of the true generators at Lucky Genetics. To find a boar we like and with his pedigree, what a great combo. It is not everyday that you can bring a boar home and he just gets better and better. After a few days at home, he looks absolutely INCREDIBLE. This boar is awesome from a side profile being very level down his topline and as square as you want to make one going away. Paranormal has great shape for a negative and adequate chest floor with squareness and super flexible off both ends. He is short bodied yet has great length of hip and those don't normally go together. Paranormal is a heavy skeletoned with big square even toes and has as much bone as a fat steer at Denver!!!!

This is the $10,000 high selling boar at the 2009 NSR Extravaganza. We thought that this boar was very good at Richmond, but after we got Rename home for a month he has turned into a GREAT boar. He is built so correct from a structure standpoint being very flexible off both ends. Yet this guy is heavy in his bones and carries shape down his top and through his stifle. A wide made boar with a great rib cage and awesome look. Shane kept some of this boar and he is very glad he did. Rename is one of the stoutest stress negative boars that we have ever seen and looking at him you wouldn't think he was a negative. STOUT.....STOUT....STOUT

$100 A Dose
Gun Shy is the 09 Indiana State Fair Junior Champion Crossbred Boar that was not only on the top end of the sale sheet but the top end of our pick’s. Gun Shy was the third boar in the ring after the grand and reserve sold for new records in the crossbreds and we feel that people were shocked what happen and missed this boar sell. Not only a great boar to look at, but what a litter. Mauck’s sold this litter for over $9,000 as little pigs and a littermate barrow was named Reserve Crossbred Barrow at the Indiana State Fair junior show. Gun Shy is moderate in his frame size and length of body with as big of a chest floor you want to put in one and leaves you with a square hind leg. For a stress negative boar he has a bunch of shape down his top and carries it to a shapely muscular hip. Gun Shy has a good natural center body and we feel this guy can make champion kind of barrows for a long time.

Superstitious is a private treaty purchase from RW Genetics and our pick of all the exotic boars from the spring 09 crop. Superstitious is a line bred Superman...line bred=predictability...This guy is jet level in his skeleton with heaviness of structure and big feet. You can't make one any better in their knee and forearm. Superstitious has a wide chest with a great squareness coming at you. This guy's name says it all. He has a huge hip and top laid in him with bone and a monster chest floor. As a 40 lb pig, we have never seen one this stout and still have set to their feet and legs. To this day ,he looks the same just pounds heavier. We feel this guy can make unbelievable easy selling baby pigs that will feed like him and his littermates. If you don't like pigs that are moderate, wide, heavy structured, big centered and wide chested don't use Baby Got Back.
